The RISE Foundation advocates for the rights of young people by providing holistic access to health information and support for capacity strengthening in various development issues. Additionally, we aim to cultivate an environment that promotes inclusive and meaningful participation of youth, while also fostering equitable relationships between young individuals and adults.

RISE Foundation is offering a Human Resource Officer job opportunity that involve to identifying the staff’s needs, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring processes, including job description development, and posting job openings, with the following responsibilities and qualifications details:

Responsibilities

  1. Assess organizational staffing requirements and collaborate with department heads to identify positions needed for effective operations and program delivery.
  2. Develop and implement recruitment and selection strategies, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and administering assessments to identify and place qualified candidates.
  3. Lead interviews and selection processes to evaluate candidate suitability based on skills, experience, and alignment with the RISE Foundation’s mission and values.
  4. Create and maintain comprehensive job descriptions outlining roles, responsibilities, qualifications, and expectations.
  5. Manage job postings across relevant platforms to attract a diverse talent pool and promote inclusivity in recruitment efforts.
  6. Oversee the end-to-end hiring process, from recruitment to offer negotiation and onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient candidate experience.
  7. Design and implement onboarding and orientation programs to familiarize new employees with organizational culture, policies, and work environments.
  8. Support training and development initiatives, including organizing workshops, learning programs, and career development opportunities to enhance employee competencies.
  9. Develop and manage performance management systems, including setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and monitoring and evaluating employee performance.
  10. Handle employee administration, including maintaining employee records, attendance, leave, contracts, and payroll coordination.
  11. Foster positive employee relations by maintaining strong communication, addressing workplace issues or conflicts, and enhancing employee engagement.
  12. Ensure organizational compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations, and maintain adherence to internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  1. Possessing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such Human Resource Management, Business Administration with a focus on HR, Law, Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Labor Relations, or experienced in related field.
  2. Strong understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures, with experience in recruitment, talent management, and employee relations.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with candidates, team members, and stakeholders, and convey job expectations and organizational values.
  4. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment practices, promoting a culture that values and respects the contributions of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  5. Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess staffing needs, address recruitment challenges, and make data-driven decisions.
  7. Efficient organizational skills to manage recruitment processes, maintain candidate records, and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations.
  8. A genuine passion for advocating for the rights and well-being of young people, demonstrated through previous experience or involvement in youth-focused initiatives or organizations.
  9. Fluency in Indonesian and English is required. 
  10. Candidates based in Yogyakarta and surrounding areas are preferred.
