To support the organization’s continued growth, expanding operational scale, and the increasing volume and complexity of its financial transactions, RISE Foundation is offering a Finance Assistant job opportunity that involves supporting well-organized financial administration, transaction verification, payment processing, and the preparation of accurate financial reports. This role aims to strengthen the organization’s finance function, ensuring that all financial management processes are conducted transparently, efficiently, and in strict compliance with internal policies and donor requirements, with the following responsibilities and qualifications details:

Responsibilities

  1. Prepare, organize, maintain, and archive project documentation, including proposals, work plans, progress reports, financial records, and other related documents.
  2. Support tax administration, including preparing tax documentation, processing tax payments, and maintaining compliance with applicable tax regulations.
  3. Assist in monitoring project timelines, ensuring key deadlines are met, and providing early notification of potential delays.
  4. Support project budget administration by recording expenditures, maintaining financial documentation, and assisting in financial reporting to the Project Leader.
  5. Coordinate project logistics, including travel arrangements, accommodation, meeting venues, and other operational requirements for project staff and partners.
  6. Coordinate with the Finance Team to process payments and address administrative and financial requirements.
  7. Maintain and update project databases, including partner contacts, financial records, and other relevant project information.
  8. Support the Project Officer in preparing monthly project progress reports and compiling supporting documentation.
  9. Monitor and manage project inventories, including equipment and other project assets.
  10. Provide administrative support to project team members and ensure they have the necessary resources to carry out project activities effectively.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Business Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or other relevant fields.
  2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  3. Skills in administration, taxation, document management, report preparation, and project archive maintenance.
  4. Ability to learn project administration software that may be used.
  5. Good communication skills to interact with team members.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
  7. Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  8. Preferably have prior experience working in non-profit organizations.
  9. Willingness to be based in the Yogyakarta Office.
