About the Recruitment

The RISE Foundation advocates for the rights of young people by providing holistic access to health information and support for capacity strengthening in various development issues. Additionally, we aim to cultivate an environment that promotes inclusive and meaningful participation of youth, while also fostering equitable relationships between young people and adults.

RISE Foundation is supported by Yayasan Humanis and Inovasi Sosial (Humanis) in implementing the Urban Futures program, which focuses on enhancing the involvement of young people in the climate-resilient urban food system through the approach of the Right to Food and Nutrition in the city of Bandung and West Manggarai Regency. Urban food systems, meaningful youth participation and climate change action are all incorporated into the Urban Futures initiative. The program places a strong emphasis on developing creative urban food policies, designing inclusive cities that can withstand climate change, and assisting the upcoming generation of sustainable food industry entrepreneurs.

To support the implementation process, the RISE Foundation is currently offering a job opportunity for the position of Content Creator on Youth and Food System with the following responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate regularly with the website coordinator to develop content plans
2. Write, review, edit, and create content for social media and websites
3. Conduct research and interview to learn the latest trends in content development.
4. Collaborate with youth communities to prepare content materials
5. Gather feedback from youth audiences, stakeholders, and analytics data to iterate and refine content strategies for ongoing improvement and impact.
6. Using various social media features to increase youth engagement through digital platform
7. Increase social media traffic through innovative content
8. Collaborate with program teams to develop campaign strategies starting from the planning process to evaluation.
9. Collaborate with the web coordinator to create social media and website development reports

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such Communications, Journalism, Digital Marketing, Nutrition or Food Science, or related field with more than 2 years of working experience
2. Understanding of food systems, including agricultural practices, food supply chains, nutrition, sustainability, and related challenges and opportunities.
3. Experience in engaging and communicating effectively with youth audiences, understanding their interests, concerns, and motivations.
4. Proficiency in creating various types of content such as articles, social media posts, videos, and infographics to engage and educate youth about food systems.
5. Ability to conduct research on food system topics, including trends, best practices, and innovations, to inform content development.
6. Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, including SEO, social media marketing, and website campaigns, to promote recruitment efforts effectively.
7. Fluency in Indonesian and English is required.
