CSE/Comprehensive Sexuality Education Officer Recruitment (OPEN)

About the Recruitment

RISE Foundation focuses on developing the potential of Indonesia’s youth through three main issues: Climate Resilience and Sustainability (CRS), Education and Technology (Edutech), and Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI). Based on the belief that the younger generation is a crucial asset for positive change, RISE continuously strives to enhance their participation, advocacy, and capacities, as well as foster equal partnerships between adults and youth in various aspects of life. To strengthen its GESI division, RISE Foundation is opening a vacancy for the position of CSE/Comprehensive Sexuality Education Officer, with the following details on responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities

  1. Support the implementation of CSE/Comprehensive Sexuality Education Program under Gender Equity and Social Inclusion division, working closely with CSE Manager.
  2. Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and community outreach on CSE for teachers, youth facilitators, and adolescents.
  3. Provide technical support during capacity-building sessions organized by the project team.
  4. Monitor the delivery of CSE sessions to ensure quality and effectiveness.
  5. Collect data, feedback, and documentation from CSE activities in the field.
  6. Contribute to regular progress reports, including success stories, lessons learned, and challenges encountered.
  7. Assist in strengthening partnerships with youth communities and organizations
  8. Collaborate with other units and projects as directed to ensure youth empowerment and involvement strategies are consistent with the organization’s overall strategy and program design.
  9. Assist the Manager in coordinating regularly with partners, program advisors, and finance managers regarding project implementation.
  10. Provide support for the overall implementation of projects related to gender equity and social inclusion division.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Sociology, Law, or a related field with 1 years of working experience in a relevant field.
  2. Experience in conducting training sessions for youth or community groups.
  3. Experience in administrative procedure and financial management.
  4. Proven experience working effectively as part of a team.
  5. Experience working in a non-profit organization
  6. Demonstrated experience in working with Youth Communities or organizations
  7. Have a good knowledge of Gender, Equity, and Social Inclusion issues.
  8. Fluent in Indonesian and English (speaking and writing)
  9. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  10. Ability to travel when needed
  11. Good communication skills, interpersonal savvy, and ability to work in a team
  12. Understanding of basic project management principles
  13. Ability to multi-task and ability to determine priority scales
  14. Attention to detail, critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving skills
  15. Reside in Yogyakarta
