The RISE Foundation advocates for the rights of young people by providing holistic access to health information and support for capacity strengthening in various development issues. Additionally, we aim to cultivate an environment that promotes inclusive and meaningful participation of youth, while also fostering equitable relationships between young people and adults.

RISE Foundation is supported by Yayasan Humanis and Inovasi Sosial (Humanis) in implementing the Urban Futures program, which focuses on enhancing the involvement of young people in the climate-resilient urban food system through the approach of the Right to Food and Nutrition in the city of Bandung and West Manggarai Regency. Urban food systems, meaningful youth participation and climate change action are all incorporated into the Urban Futures initiative. The program places a strong emphasis on developing creative urban food policies, designing inclusive cities that can withstand climate change, and assisting the upcoming generation of sustainable food industry entrepreneurs.

To support the implementation process, the RISE Foundation is currently offering a job opportunity for the position of Website Coordinator on Digital Youth Activism Platform with the following responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities

1. Develop general content plan of digital youth activism platform/website in accordance with the requirements of the project.
2. Monitor platform/website performance, such as page load times, user engagement, and other metrics, to ensure maximum user experience.
3. Ensure website is secure and compliant with data protection regulations.
4. Monitor and report on website usage and traffic.
5. Provide support to users to ensure they can navigate the website and use its features.
6. Coordinate regularly with youth community/organization in content collaboration.
7. Provide recommendations for program team related to platform improvements, especially on youth engagement strategy through digital platform.
8. Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as report and regularly coordination with the project leader, coordination with content creator team to ensure website content is up to date.
9. Monitor for new technologies, trends, and innovations.
10. Develop and implement website policies and procedures.

Qualifications

1. Possessing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, web design, or related field with more than 2 years of working experience
2. Proven experience in website management and development.
3. Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
4. Knowledge of web development tools and software.
5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
8. Experience working in a non-profit organization.
9. Demonstrated experience in working with Youth Communities or organization.
10. Having an in-depth comprehension of the principles of website management.
11. Fluency in Indonesian and English is required.
