Yogyakarta, Indonesia – 2-3 Maret 2024 – Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta
Perempuan Punya Karya, RISE Foundation, and Women in Tourism Indonesia, with the support from Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta as the official partner, proudly present the Super Women Camp to commemorate International Women’s Day 2024. This event is a two-day forum held at Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta, designed to empower women across various sectors.

Statistics reveal that Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) contribute 60% to Indonesia’s GDP, with women owning 54% of these businesses and employing 97% of the female worker. In celebration and support of women’s businesses, the Super Women Camp aims to facilitate discussions, offer diverse workshops, and create a future where every woman is empowered to lead and succeed.

The Super Women Camp will bring together women from various backgrounds to:

  • Gain practical knowledge and skills through interactive workshops and mentoring sessions led by professionals in health, finance, and personal development.
  • Build networks and communities with inspiring women and professionals who support women’s advancement.
  • Develop innovative ideas and creative solutions to overcome challenges in entrepreneurship.
  • Become change agents and inspire other women to reach their full potential.

The Super Women Camp will feature a range of exciting programs, including:

  • Workshops: Reproductive Health with Ika Nindyas (RISE Foundation), Personal Development with Santi Zaidan, Financial Planning with Himawan Adhi (Treasury), Healthy and Sustainable Cooking Class with Vivi Marliana (Tupperware)
  • Talk Show: Featuring inspirational speakers and experts in creative economy and entrepreneurship on the topic ‘Invest in Women, Accelerate Progress’ with Herman Courbois (General Manager Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta), Elisabeth Susiany (Amora Venue), Jovita Wibowo (Mekari), Thalya Hasna Fadilah (Bumi Journey), and Nissa Khoirina (Owner Puthic and by Nissakhoirina).
  • Art and Wellness: Creative and relaxation sessions to balance mind and body with Yoga and Wellness Workshops by Yayasan Padma, and Art and Dance sessions with Mila Rosinta and Dilla Auliya Dina.

The main themes of the Super Women Camp include exploring collaboration among women’s communities and stakeholders, addressing future challenges and barriers to women’s entrepreneurship, and empowering women to amplify their voices and create significant impact through change and innovation.

Let’s celebrate International Women’s Day 2024 by fostering prosperous women and ensuring healthy and peaceful lives for future generations.

Perempuan Punya Karya, RISE Foundation, and Women in Tourism Indonesia are committed to nurturing a more inclusive and equitable world where women can achieve their full potential. Super Women Camp is a vital step towards this goal by providing women with the tools and support they need to become superwomen for themselves and their communities.

One of the major changes is the adjustment of the cooperation model with CAI organisations, where in the future, KOPAJA will no longer refer to one particular organisation in involving inclusivity. This change aims to open up wider collaboration opportunities with various other inclusion organisations.
