RISE Foundation’s internship program has now transformed into RISE Youth Academy, a more structured, meaningful, and dynamic learning space designed to empower young people through hands-on experience in the social development sector. Many youths aspire to have an internship that is not only practical but also impactful and growth-oriented. RISE Youth Academy answers that call by offering a learning and practice based internship, where participants undergo a journey that is:

Responsibilities
- Conduct basic research on issues that are the focus of RISE Foundation, namely Climate Resilience and Sustainability (CRS), Educational Development and Technology (Edutech), and Gender Equity and Social Inclusion (GESI), to support the development of the organization’s communication content.
- Develop concepts and produce educational content for various RISE Foundation communication channels, including website articles and social media content.
- Support the preparation of organizational communication materials such as press releases, social media captions, and other publication materials that support programs and activities.
- Monitor and engage with audiences on the organization’s social media platforms in relation to published content.
- Contribute to activity documentation and assist in preparing content insights and communication trackers to support the evaluation of the organization’s communication efforts.
- Support the communications team and program team in implementing organizational activities, both online and offline, and carry out other relevant tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Undergraduate student or recent graduate from Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, Social Sciences, or other related fields.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills in developing clear and engaging content.
- Interest in social issues related to youth, sustainability, education, and social inclusion.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic digital communication practices.
- Able to conduct simple research and work collaboratively in a team environment.
