RISE Foundation’s Intern Batch VIII – Graphic Designer (CLOSED)

This is good news for those of you who live in Yogyakarta

Currently, the RISE Foundation is reopening opportunities for students and fresh graduates to process with us through Internship Batch #8 which will last for 6 months‼️

The Internship Program at RISE Foundation offers young people the chance to grow while gaining hands-on experience in the world of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and digital youth activism. Interns will learn how NGOs operate, from planning to executing social programs, while developing critical skills like communication and project management. A key focus is on digital youth activism, where interns are trained to use social media and digital platforms to advocate for important causes. The program also provides mentorship and networking opportunities, preparing interns for future careers in social work and activism, and equipping them with the tools to make a meaningful impact.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Create content designs for the RISE Foundation’s website and social media
  2. Assist in designing content for the publication of RISE Foundation programs
  3. Contribute to the development of design assets, templates, and communication guidelines for various RISE Foundation programs
  4. Stay updated on graphic design trends, especially those relevant to teenagers on social media
  5. Collaborate with the communication team to enhance outreach efforts
  6. Support RISE Foundation program staff in executing programs
  7. Perform other related tasks

Specific Requirements

  1. Skilled in using design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar software
  2. Understands and applies design principles for both digital and print media
  3. Keeps up with graphic design trends that resonate with a teenage audience
  4. Creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and in a team

  1. Fresh graduates or final-year students (who have completed all compulsory courses)
  2. Creative, innovative, and adaptive
  3. Interested in youth issues
  4. Committed to a six-month internship program
  5. Willing to work from the office for at least 12 hours per week

Registration: 10 February – 21 February 2025

Announcement of Document Selection: 25 February 2025*

Interview: 27 February 2025

Final Selection Announcement: 28 February 2025*

Onboarding: 3 March 2025

Internship Period: March – August 2025
