RISE Foundation’s internship program has now transformed into RISE Youth Academy, a more structured, meaningful, and dynamic learning space designed to empower young people through hands-on experience in the social development sector. Many youths aspire to have an internship that is not only practical but also impactful and growth-oriented. RISE Youth Academy answers that call by offering a learning and practice based internship, where participants undergo a journey that is:

Responsibilities

• Manage the distribution and scheduling of content across RISE Foundation’s social media platforms while regularly monitoring audience responses to published content.
• Actively engage with audiences through comments, direct messages, and other interactive features to build responsive communication and strengthen community engagement.
• Develop and implement digital engagement initiatives, such as social media campaigns, interactive content, or participatory activities that are relevant to youth audiences.
• Monitor content performance and social media account growth through platform insights, and contribute to the preparation of content insights and communication trackers to support the evaluation of the organization’s digital communication strategy.
• Support the communications team in implementing various communication activities and assist the program team in organizing events or activities, both online and offline.
• Carry out other relevant tasks in accordance with organizational needs and the development of program activities.

Requirements

• Undergraduate student or recent graduate from Communications, Media, Social Sciences, or other relevant fields.
• Demonstrated interest in youth-related issues, including sustainability, education, or social inclusion.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and their engagement features.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with audiences in a responsive and professional manner.
• Creative, proactive, and able to work collaboratively in supporting digital engagement and communication activities.
