The RISE Foundation, together with representatives of the Rumah Anak SIGAP facilitators, visited a number of villages in Pandeglang Regency, Banten. The meeting, which took place September 2-4, 2025, was an important moment to strengthen collaboration between the Rumah Anak SIGAP program and local governments.
Through coordination in six villages—Saketi, Palurahan, Sukasari, Tegalongok, Pasirjaksa, and Kadudampit—the RISE Foundation emphasized the importance of open dialogue and strong cooperation between facilitators, local governments, and communities. This synergy is expected to not only strengthen the implementation of the Rumah Anak SIGAP activities in the field but also foster a sense of ownership and shared responsibility for the sustainability of the program in each village.
Field coordination results show a positive response and high commitment from local governments to the sustainability of the SIGAP Program. A number of village heads have expressed their support not only in moral terms, but also through the provision of tangible facilities and resources. This is because they see the program as an initiative that is in line with the spirit of local development by uplifting the younger generation.
In various villages, this support has been manifested in the form of providing Rumah Anak SIGAP access to village facilities such as operational vehicles, logistical assistance, and updated assignment documents for facilitators. In fact, in some locations, the local government has also helped provide water resources and local funding support to ensure that activities can run smoothly.
In addition, a number of village heads have also shown concern for the status of the land and the sustainability of the use of the Rumah Anak SIGAP building by providing guarantees for the use of village-owned land or grants that have a clear legal basis. This is a positive sign that local governments not only provide operational support but also help to ensure the sustainability of the program in the future.
The coordination carried out by the RISE Foundation with village heads shows that each region has its own dynamics and strengths in supporting the implementation of the SIGAP Program. Even so, the spirit of collaboration shown by the village heads is a strong signal that this program has been well received and will bring real benefits to the community.
Through open dialogue and close cooperation, the RISE Foundation has succeeded in strengthening its relationship with local governments and reinforcing a shared commitment to maintaining the program’s sustainability. Going forward, the RISE Foundation will continue to encourage synergy between facilitators, village governments, and the community so that the SIGAP Program becomes even more deeply rooted at the local level and has a lasting positive impact on the children and families around the Rumah Anak SIGAP.
